Rosalind Dos Santos

Rosalind is the Group Energy Manager for Mpact, one of the leading paper and plastics packaging manufacturing businesses in Southern Africa as well as the leading recycler of recovered paper and plastic.  Her area of expertise is sustainability; she works mainly in energy, carbon, and climate change, although she has diverse experience in her career of over 12 years.

Rosalind has held various roles in her career in South Africa, including Head of Group Real Estate Services Sustainability for Liberty Holdings as well as account management on an international donor funded energy efficiency programme, senior consultant for power and infrastructure solutions, technical expertise for a South Africa bank’s carbon trading team and carbon project development.

Rosalind is a Future Energy Leader of the World Energy Council and a director of the South African National Energy Association.  Rosalind holds an MSc in Metallurgical Engineering and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand, and is a Certified Energy Manager of the Association of Energy Engineers.  She has almost completed a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Cape Town, and is currently completing an overseas quarter at the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago.
